Please call well in advance to reserve your child's birthday party.
We can be booked from two weeks to a month-and-a-half in advance depending on bowling season and inclement weather.

Your Child's Party

Lanes & Games is a great place to host your child's birthday party. With plenty of lanes, games and table space, we have something fun for all ages.

1st Floor Reservations - A party for younger children should be reserved on the 1st floor candlepin lanes. There is tables space directly behind your lanes for your convenience. Candlepin involves a smaller ball that is easier to roll down 60 feet of lane. We also have bumpers!

2nd Floor Reservations - Tenpin is available on this floor. Dining space is reserved in the lounge. Party availability is more limited due to space restrictions. Bumpers are also available.

SUGGESTIONS:
To help make your party successful, we have put together the following list of suggestions:

  1. Plan on bowling for one hour then pizza and dessert. The party time slot is two hours long. The only time restriction is that we will not put the pizza in the ovens until after you arrive, and they take 15 to 20 minutes to bake.
  2. Make the party as simple as possible. The less to set up and the less to take home makes it easier and less stressful on the parent and the child. Remember, there will be gifts to take home at the end as well as left-overs! A tablecloth and some cake plates for color make the kids just as happy as a an all-out affair and lets them focus on the bowling and the party.
  3. Recruit help. Use teenagers, willing aunts/uncles, grandparents or a few volunteer parents to help keep the kids in one area, carry items and help serve.
  4. Restrictions on decorations. Please do not pin or tape anything to our nice wallpaper. You can use tape or tie things to our tables and chairs. Please no confetti or piñatas. These objects get tracked onto our lanes and get into the machinery. Thank you in advance for your consideration and cooperation.
  5. Bowling. Please see our "Rates" section to see how the bowling works.
  6. Some snacks are okay. Try to stay away from anything that turns to powder - such as popcorn. It gets under the shoes and makes them even more slippery than normal. Also, try to keep the snacking over the carpet. The carpet absorbs the oils and powders.
  7. Refrigeration. We are happy to put your perishables such as ice cream in our refrigerators. Please just let the front desk know.
  8. Ask for bumpers. Gutterballs are no fun. Kids love to see their score go up. . . up. . . up.
  9. Safety first. Keep the children off the actual lanes. They have oil on them for maintenance. Don't let them sit on the ball returns or reach for balls as they are coming out.
  10. Allergies!? Please check out our dining section for a few answers to allergy questions and our food. Bring baby wipes to wipe down worrisome areas. We can not guarantee that no one has passed by and touched the birthday party tables or the bowling balls.
  11. Let them bowl, cheer and eat cake!

NOTE:
If you are ordering food/drink with us, white plates, cups, napkins and cutlery will be provided as needed.
